# Strait

Strait is a cross-chain exchange at https://strait.exchange/.

It compares live public routes from DEXes, bridges, and intent protocols, then settles from the user's own wallet. Strait does not hold the assets. Network fees and the route fee are shown before the user confirms.

Private transfers are a separate mode. They exchange both ways through Exolix and use XMR. They are not a mixer. Each trade gets a number that support can look up.
